Railway minister Suresh Prabhu and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will flag off Amaravati Express, a special train for Andhra Pradesh government employees at Vijayawada Railway Station on June 20.

As a majority of AP government employees working in Hyderabad have decided to keep their families in Hyderabad, the special train between Vijayawada and Hyderabad is being arranged.

Here are the features:

  • The train numbers allotted are 12795/12796
  • The name of the train is Vijayawada-Secunderabad Superfast Express
  • The train would be running six days a week as a superfast express; this service will not be on Sunday
  • The train would go from Vijayawada to Hyderabad via Guntur.
  • The train would stop only Guntur
  • Train 12796 will start from Secunderabad at 5.30 AM and reach Guntur at 10.08 AM and Vijayawada at 11.00 AM
  • Train 12795 will start from Vijayawada at 5.30 PM and reach Guntur at 6.20 PM and Secuderabad at 11.10 PM
  • The train consists of 14 coaches, where 2 AC chair car, 10 second sitting

Specialty of LBH Coaches:

  • The coaches of the train are "Linke Hofmann Busch Coaches"
  • The coaches are designed for an operating speed up to 160 km/h and could go up to 200 km/h.
  • They are considered to be "anti-telescopic", which means they do not get turned over or flip in case of a collision (chiefly head-on)
  • The seats in the coaches are more, compared to the normal coaches
  • There will be less sound compared to the normal trains
  • These coaches are made of stainless steel and the interiors are made of aluminium which make them lighter as compared to conventional rakes

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's camp office witnessed many visitors, with various problems. Chief Minster spent about one hour and addressed their grievances. Many of the issues are solved then and there instantly.

Chief Minister announced Rs. 4 lakh to a patient, Raju from Chilakaluripeta, who is suffering from blood cancer.

Also Chief Minister has cleared upto 10 grievances then and there.

Visitors can come and meet Chief Minister at Vijayawada Camp Office every day between 12 PM to 1 PM whenever he is in Vijayawada.

amaravati flats to farmers 18062016

Good times ahead for the farmers who have sacrificed their land for Amaravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to hand over the developed plots to Land owners under Land Pooling Scheme (PLS).

This process would start from June 20th, Monday, from 4.00 PM. This is going to start first in Nelapadu Village. The plots would be allotted to the farmers on Lottery System. CRDA Commissioner Srikanth has asked all the farmers to come and attend.

The land of 1600 acres where the farmers are not willing to give in Land pooling would be taken under Land acquisition and the land acquisition of 1600 acres.

ola auto vijayawada 18062016

Vijayawada which is getting its metro touch after the capital announcement in Amaravati, can now book the auto's online. Ola has launched a mobile app for transportation in auto rickshaws on its app, on Thursday.

In Vijayawada, 100 Ola Autos are started initially. Citizens can hire auto’s, by booking through mobile Ola App Auto travel. Citizens can also track the auto on their mobile where it is. The customers can also share the ride details with the friends and family members, and they can also track the auto route. With this feature the safety of the customers in the auto is assured.

The payments can also be done online, through the app. Ola Auto, provides autos at a fare of Rs. 9 per kilo meter with a minimum fare of Rs.25. In the night time the charges would be 1.25 times more than the normal fare in day time.

  • Recharge Ola money through credit/debit card or online banking
  • Book an Auto with the Ola mobile app.

  • At the end of the trip, you can choose to pay for ride either partially or completely with your Ola money balance.
  • If you choose to pay with Ola money, mention the amount to the driver. You will then receive an SMS with an authentication code. Kindly communicate the 4 digit code to the driver to proceed with the transaction
  • Share the authentication code with the driver
