Famous kapu leader, popularly known Vangaveeti Ramga statue was found demolished by unknown at Machilipatnam. Finding the statue demolished the Kapu community gathered in huge to the point of demolishion and started protesting for justice. The police being feared of incident came to work with help of their trained dogs which are running here and there. It is known that RGV is planning a movie with name of VANGAVEETI covering the real life story of Vangaveeti Ranga.

The Andhra Pradesh government today woke the jobless youth of state with a good news of phase-wise recruitment on 20,000 government posts lying vacant.The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu anounced Information and Public Relations Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy.

As known “Thousands of government jobs are lying vacant but given the financial constraints faced by the state, we are taking up ‘need-based recruitment’ to fill the vacancies,”are the words of Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu during assembly sessions.He even announced in his Budget speech that the Finance Department was in the process of according permission for filling 20,000 posts through direct recruitment.

After a detailed discussion on this issue, the Cabinet gave green signal for filling up 20,000 vacancies in a multi-phased manner, announced Palle Ragunatha Reddy after the meeting.It is known that the permission were already given to fill 12,358 posts in various categories of administrative, technical and managerial services through direct recruitment.

It is know that L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji who have bagged the bids for construction of a Secretariat complex, and are targeted to complete the project by June 15th. The works are going at a brisk pace and it is estimated that the works would be complete by June 1st only.

Prefab beams are being placed and they are getting ready to lay the slab for the first floor on April 8th, on Telugu New Year Day Ugadi.

Out of total 6 buildings, L&T is constructing 4 buildings and Shapoorji is constructing 2 buildings.

Fashion Fiesta party wear exhibition draws huge crowds at Sai Kalyana Mandapam, Vijayawada. Around 60 stalls of various fashion items are displayed. A wide range of fresh fashion in apparels and jewelry were put up across sixty stalls at the Fashion Fiesta designer exhibition that is held at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Mandapam. Party wear, informal wear besides funky accessories were at the expo.

There are individual designers from Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore, besides the local designers. Artificial jewelry and first copy products of branded bags and watches were all present in the expo.
