To cut of the delay time and also to eradicate corruption, Andhra Pradesh government has started online registration of motor vehicles. Chief Minister has launched this programme in Vijayawada, through video conference, with a customer at Visakhapatnam. The first beneficiary of this programme is Mr.Eswara Sarma, from Visakhapatnam.
Under this service, no need to run to transport department office for registration number and no need to wait for 20 days to get the number. We can easily apply online and get the number on the same day without the need of going to the Transport Office.
AP Government target is bringing all 83 services, offered by the Transport Department, online by June 30. After that applicants would only have to visit the offices of the Transport Department only for getting LLR (Learner’s License), Driving License and Fitness Certificate (FC) for vehicles.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has performed Chakrasnanam at at Durga Ghat in Vijayawada today at 7.30 AM. Well know Dollar Sehsadri, and other Pujaris from TTD has participated in the event. Many people have came to witness the Chakrasnanam and took the blessings of the god.
With the onset of Magha Masam, TTD has decided to conduct the “sacred Chakrasnanam” in the holy rivers at various important religious centers located across the country to create awareness about the divinity of rivers.
TTD is performing Chakrasnanam from March 1st to 9th across all over India, in Krishna, Godavari, Triveni Sangamam and Ganga rivers' at Vijayawada, Basar, Varanasi, Allahabad and Kurukshetra.
Temporary Secretariat construction works are going round the clock. L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji have started digging pits for the pillars. According to engineers 13 meters long pits (100 feet) would be dug for strong pillars on which the temporary secretariat building would be constructed.
Out of the targeted 120 days, 10 days have passed by and 110 days are remaining.
