A new tourism project is going to implement in Andhra Pradesh. If all goes according to plan, by April or May, we are going to see a new experience of Sea Plane service and we can see planes landing on Krishna River at Praksam Barrage.

Chennai based, Sky Choppers Logistics Private Limited is going to start the seaplane services between Visakhapatnam-Amaravati via Kakinada. In the recent CII Partnership Summit in Vizag, the company has come into an MOU with Andhra Pradesh Government. The seaplane would land on the Prakasam Barrage in Krishna River at Vijayawada. In Vizag, it will land near old Municipal office at Bheemli. This would be a different and thrilling experience those who will be travelling on regular flights. The government is also expecting that tourism also will get a boost with this project. The price is estimated to be around Rs.3,000 to Rs.3,500. The organizers are expecting a huge demand for this service.

The investment of Sky Choppers Logistics Private Limited, in this project will be around Rs.25crores. The first phase of the project is expected to start in three months. Also the company is planning for another seaplane service is in planning in six months.

The same company is also starting heli-tourism in Vizag between Vuda Park to Kailasagiri. The ticked is expected to be fix around Rs.2500.

Pulse polio campaign will be held from today on, January 17. Preparations regarding the same have already been made across Krishna and Guntur District. Around 2,560 centers are set up in Krishna district. It is estimated that 3.9 lakh infants would be covered

Children below five years of age can visit one of the 2,560 centers set up in Krishna district to get the infants immunised under the Pulse Polio programme on Sunday. 90 mobile teams have also been deployed to administer the vaccine to children at railway and bus stations. The vaccination of infants at the Pulse Polio centers will be followed up on January 18 and 19 during which the workers will go door-to-door to administer the vaccine. The workers will again search for children below five years of age who are left uncovered by the drive on January 20.

Asha and Anganwadi workers, DWCRA group members, Urban Health Workers and medical officers will take part in the Pulse Polio programme

All arrangements are made for a mega job mela tomorrow (22-01-2016) at District Employment Office on Government ITI premises. Job Mela will be organised by the Department of Employment and Training.

The mela is being conducted for as many as 400 posts in the companies LIC Vijayawada, Lucky Automotive Private Limited, Cleris Techno Solutions, Tech Manindra, First Health Medical Solutions, Tech Medha, Floric Luminaries, Sri Venkateswara Services, ICICI Foundation Training and Placement, Birla Sun Life Insurance, Sriram Chits, Navata Transports, Varun Training Institute, Varun Maruti, Varun Bajaj, Veltech and Doctor Reddys Foundation.

The companies will conduct written tests and personal interviews. Interested candidates with general degree, B.Tech, MBA or any other qualifications can also apply. Candidates should bring copies of their educational certificates, passport size photos and resume for the interviews.
