Andhra Pradesh Government is going to distribute five-star rated fans to save energy. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today launched this as a pilot project in Narsapur of West Godavari district. Later this is going to be implemented all over the state.
Sidelines:
- Each Family would get Two Five-Star Rated Fans
- Each Commercial Establishments would get Ten Five-Star Rated Fans
- Institutions such as schools or colleges will get 20 Five-Star Rated Fans
- Each Fan would be sold at Rs.1,173/-
- Consumer also can buy this at Rs.60/- per month in 24 installments
- APEPDCL will collect the EMI amount through the electricity bills
- Normal fan's capacity is 75 watts whereas a five-star rated fan has the capacity of 40 watt
- Using this fans will save upto 150 Units per Year
