Andhra Pradesh state government is thinking of to modify the designs of government buildings in 900 acres at Amaravati core capital. As the designs seems very old designs and also public criticizing that, the assembly design is resembling as chimney, government has taken this decision.

Chief Minister has had a detailed discussion with Maki Associates since the past two days. CM has discussed to change the designs as per the public suggestions and reflect the culture and tradition of Andhra people in the designs.

Mr Narayana said that Maki Associates submitted only the concept design of Amaravati and it can be changed according to the needs.

After the central minister's letter that, center is not providing special status, Guntur MP Galla Jaydev has demanded in the parliament to fulfill all the promises made to Andhra Pradesh. He also urged on providing special status to Andhra Pradesh. Below is his speech.

Central Government Once again ditched Andhra Pradesh.

Union Minister of State for Finance Jayanta Sinha said in a written reply to a question by TDP's Anakapalle MP Avanti Srinivas said that the special state status is not part of the AP Reorganization Act and also said that Niti Ayog also did not recommed the special status.
