The famous brand ITC is going to build a 5 start hotel in Guntur. With an approx. investment of Rs.150 crores, ITC is going to build this in Guntur. The 5 star hotel is going to come up With a total of 12 floors and 300 rooms.

This hotel is going to come up in the place of ITC Guest House in Guntur. The company is going to demolish the guest house and built fiver star hotel. It is known that, after bifurcation, this is going to be the first fiver star hotel in the state.

Chief Minsiter Nara Chandrababu Naidu is going to lay foundation for this hotel on April 29th. ITC Chairman YC Deveshwar will also participate in the foundation ceremony.

With a plan of giving a complete new look to Vijayawada city before krishna pushkarams, the Krishna District administration is making complete facelift to all the major areas of the city and make the city attractive. Chief Minister is also closely monitoring and giving the necessary instructions regularly.

VMC is mainly focused on the beautification of canals and the airport road by Pushkarams and they are working hard to achieve this. Also Chief Minister has also instructed to make Bandar Road look more attractive as it is the leading road in the city. Chief Minister also instructed the officials to develop the sprawling Swaraj Maidan (PWD Grounds) as City Square by removing all encroachments.

According to sources, the administration is ready to spend over Rs 300 crore for canal beautification and also the beautification of the airport road in the next two months. Krishna District Collector Babu Ahmad and Municipal Commissioner G Veerapandian are closely monitoring the beautification works along the canals and the airport road.

Kanaka Durga flyover works are going on in brisk pace. All the works pertaining to flyover construction are taken up on a war-footing basis. With high-end and latest equipment the pillars, pits works are being done. The construction of the pillars construction in the krishna river is also started.

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation is laying the water pipes, without disturbing the flyover works. Soma Constructions, has also deployed more workers and they are working in three shifts round the clock to complete the project on time.

Soma Constructions, has taken up the project and it is expected to complete before Krishna Pushkaram, by June 2016. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 447.8 crore. The flyover is going to be six-lane road that will connect NH5 and NH9 and it will have a four-lane road beneath it. Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari laid foundation stone for the Kanaka Durga flyover on December 5th 2015.
