Sri Kasi Annapurneswari Kamat Hotels Private Limited is going to launch its new outlets in Vijayawada on April 17th. They have also plans to opened 10 takeway outlets and three restaurants in Vijayawada by this year end. Right now four outlets would be launched at Patamata and Gandhi Nagar. A takeaway and restaurants would be opened at Autongar, Mogalrajpuram and Gandhi Nagar

The main thing note here is about the base kitchen which will have all modern cooking equipment. This would be placed at Autonagar. Here the food can be cooked for about 10,000 people and supply the items to other centres from here. The takeaway centres would also have small kitchens.

This modern cooking equipment was brought form Coimbatore, Chennai and Delhi. Automatic vegetable cutters, raitha and gravy packing machines were some of the features at the central kitchen

Kamat Hotels was founded in the year 1984 at Ravulapalem and extended to Vizag in 1994. The newly constructed restaurants in Vijayawada city will provide employment to 800 people.

Everyone were quite surprised when they came to know that Ajay Devgan and Kajol were chosen as the brand ambassadors of Andhra Pradesh. A lot of tongues started wagging as to why Babu selected the Bollywood couple for this job. But the cat is now finally out the bag now. Various sources suggest that TDP indeed approached several Telugu stars who were born in AP to promote their state.

But as these stars have settled down in Hyderabad and have huge properties here, many of them rejected the offer as they did not want to get in the bad books of Telangana government and also be labelled as hardcore Andhra people. Even though the fact cannot be changed, several top heroes from Tollywood, sources suggest backed out of this for this sole reason. Left with no choice, Babu had to go for a couple who had a world wide appeal in the form of Ajay and Kajol.

One cannot draw any conclusions from this as Babu is too clever and might have had some plan or the other behind selecting this couple. Only time will tell whether more Telugu heroes will be selected in the future or they will stay calm as they have been doing so in the past

Sri Rama Navami Celebrations in Besant Road is the biggest celebration in the Vijayawada City. The nine day celebrations will start today and end on April 23rd. The celebrations in the Besand Road will be held in a grand way every year.

If you notice while passing on the Besant Road, you will find a very small Ramalayam, which is now the nerve center for celebrations. The temple was built by all the traders in the Besant Road, in the year 1959 and the Idols were installed in 1978. Since 1959, all the traders formed as unity, and donating certain amount, the celebrations are done in a grand manner.

This year, 300 traders have contributed to the celebrations. As many as six Kilograms of pearls are being used as Talambrualu, for the celestial wedding. Also for these nine days, every day annadanam would take up approx for 1500 people. The massive laddo of 65 KGs, is present by Sweet Magic and it would be used as prasadam.

So far 11 YSR Congress MLAs have jumped the fence and joined Telugu Desam Party. Reports are coming out that more MLAs are looking at the ruling party. There is an impending danger of YSR Congress losing the their sole Rajya Sabha seat. Jagan got alerted immediately and deployed Vijaya Sai Reddy and team to deal with the dissatisfied MLAs. They went to Vizianagaram to meet MLAs Sujay Krishna Rangarao, Rajanna Dora and Pushpavani. Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao refused to meet them and they have to leave with out getting any assurance from him.

Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao is from the Kings family of Bobili and is an influential leader in three constituencies of Vizianagaram. Vijaya Sai Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Dharmana Krishnadasu are in the team sent by Jagan. They are also expected to meet Party cadre in the district and try to dissuade from joining TDP. We will have to see if this last minute attempts yield any results for Jagan and the party!
