After ITC shifted its agri division from Hyderabad to Guntur, it is time for other big players to shift their presence from Hyderabad. One Amount them is Ashok Leyland. Ashok Leyland is asking the Krishna District administration to give a land about 100 acres for its body building unit. It is planning to shift this from Hyderabad to Krishna District.
Ashok Leyland has proposed to invest around 1000 crores, if the administration provides the required land. APIIC has a land bank of 3200 acres in Krishna district. District administration is thinking of to provide the land in Mallavalli Village, in Krishna District. As the APIIC has a big land bank in this area and also most of it is government land, district administration almost confirmed to give the land here.
With this Ashok Leyland plant being set up here, there will be a huge employment to the locals.
