The special lighting arrangements are made for all the government buildings and also on the Bandar Road, on the eve of Republic Day celebrations in Vijayawada. Officials of the district along with concerned departments decorated with colourful lights.
Also all the major fountains at NTR Circle, Benz Circle, control room, VMC Circle and Prakasam Barrage were illuminated
