Air India flight connecting Gannavaram to San Francisco, New York and Chicago, with change of aircraft in New Delhi, with a single ticket is getting huge response from the passengers travelling to USA and coming from USA.

A passenger who has travelled from Vijayawada to New York, has shared his experience with Chief Minister on twitter.

This flight would help the flyers from Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Godavari Districts in the state and they need not to depend on Hyderabad or Chennai Airport to catch international flights.

No need to depend on Hyderabad, Chennai for your international travel from Andhra Pradesh. International carrier Etihad Airways has agreed, to operate flights to overseas destinations. Etihad has accepted to run from the three major airports in Andhra Pradesh — Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.

Chief Minister in his China tour made a request to Etihad airways Vice-president Mr. Vijay Poonoosamy who responded positively. Etihad Airways will soon apply for necessary permissions from the Civil Aviation Ministry.

By employing technology and process driven approach, Akshaypatra Foundation who have been entrusted with the job of managing the canteen are doing a terrific job to meet the needs. To build a new road, one has to dig the existing road. The broken Tar (Asphalt) at this process of digging would be thrown away. But IIT-Hyderabad, with the help of AP Roads Development Corporation are going to re-use this broken Tar and built a new road.

With re-using the broken tar, flyash, some amount of new tar and with mixing some chemicals, the new road would be constructed. As a pilot project, this would be constructed between Nuzvid - Mylavaram. This pilot project would be constructed under supervision of IIT Hyderabad Civil Engineering Professor Mr.Sirish.
