The word Amaravati is turning sensation day by day. Amaravati, the capital city dreamed and designed by TDP government, has now became talk of town after CRDA has finished its process of collecting the opinion from public, for Amaravati master plan as suggested by CBN government.

The results now shocked and through-out the government into defense. The people who are raising their hands against the master plan raised into a huge numbers.

Nearly 8084 objections were raised against master plan and most of them are about Agri zone says sources. The main surprise is most of the people who opposed against CRDA plans were TDP leaders and family members who own lands in the capital area, which is about to develop. The other were farmers who are making their livelihood depending on agriculture and agriculture lands. Most of them stated that govt. must think over this again and take a decision in favor of farmers and people depending on agricultural works said CRDA

Many hundreds of agricultural lands in the twin districts of Guntur and Krishna district were brought under the capital for more than more than 5000 sq km. Considering the suggestions and objections, the chances are high for CRDA to step back on its decision of undertaking Agricultural lands for construction of CAPITAL AMARAVATI. So, lets wait further for decision of CRDA and government on this issue

If everything goes as planned, flights might be taking off from Vijayawada to Dubai and other parts of the world within two to three months. Ahead of the Krishna pushkarams, the Gannavaram airport will have sixteen parking bays by the end of June. At present, there are six parking bays at the airport.

Thought the airport runway of 7,200 ft does not allow large aircraft to land with full complement of passengers and luggage, they could, if the aircraft is semi-full and carries fewer baggage.

Efforts are being taken place to make international airlines like Silk Air, Air Asia and Malindo to operate flights from Gannavaram Airport.

The officials are saying that, the present airport terminal could act as an international terminal after the last domestic flight departs which would be in the evening. Once the Customs and Immigration is set up, the flights can easily run to Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

The airport director also said the traffic and aircraft movement from Gannavaram airport has increased significantly compared to last year. The aircraft movement, which were 5,386 in 2014-15, rose to 7,596 in 2015-16. Likewise, a growth of 70 per cent in passenger movement was seen compared to last year as the passenger movement touched 3.96 lakh from 2.3 lakh in 2014-15

For the record, close to 1,000 passengers depend on over 16 services operated from the airport everyday, with the first flight taking off at around 7.15 a.m. and the last landing around 9.30 p.m. Air Costa, SpiceJet and national carrier Air India are operating daily services.

At present, three airlines operate services from this airport to Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati.

New Services for Summer:

Almost 34 services are going to run from Gannavaram Airport due to summer rush.

TruJet would operate a flight to Hyderabad starting from April 1st every day at 9.25 p.m. The airlines would operate flights to Kadapa and Tiruapti thrice in a week.

Air India is running a flight from April 1st to Bangalore, every day in the evening

SpiceJet is going to start a new service to Tirupati

The Andhra Pradesh Government is coming with a proposal to establish a major logistics center in the capital region, Amaravati. The proposed center, is likely to come up in Tadepalle Mandal in Guntur District.

The surrounding villages of Nulakapeta, Bapujinagar and Undvalli areas of Tadepalli mandal are likely to be picked.

The state government set up a committee to finalise the concept for the proposed center. The committed will complete its report within a period of 6 months.

The state government is developing the new capital region as not only a capital region as not only a capital of the state but also industrial, commercial, educational and health centre of India. The objective is to make Amaravati as a world class city.

It is known that the ruling and opposition parties comment on each other for silly causes may be for publicity or to say that they were fighting had for people.The same drama goes on even in the assembly sessions of telugu states.The oppostion leaders who regularly used to fight with their words in assembly has turned wild in recent times.

A few days back Roja turned her tounge violent making many leaders shed tears and disturbed the sessions many times for which she was awarded a gift of leave for one year which now made all the members to remain quite and calm behaving gently while discussing on problems of people.

Even though YSRCP members attended with black badges a s a protest against Roja issue today, the assembly seemed to be a bit professional, where the discussion between Minister Devineni Uma and YS Jagan looked interesting and grabbed interest of viewers and members in assembly.

YS Jagan, who rose from his seat commenting on projects held by CBN Government, said that the projects were completed by his father long back and now CBN was just decorating them to launch and even said that the whole credit goes to YSR, who inagurated the projects. Devineni Uma interuppted at this point saying that everyone knows how YS granted and earned on projects. He even continued to say that its the result of their leader CBN ‘s hardwork and vision, they took interest in completing the half done and left projects by previous Government.
