While the whole country declared 65000 crores as black money under the government’s Income Declaration Scheme, the top cities in Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada and Vizag, declared around Rs.1350 crores under IDS.

Vizag zone topped in Andhra Pradesh in the declaration of unaccounted money. Vizag region having its jurisdiction from Srikakulam to Kakinada had declarations of approximately Rs.750 crore, with 1800 declarations.

Meanwhile in Vijayawada region the declarations where upto Rs.600 crore.

IT Department said that, still there are around 10000 persons in the state, who are not disclosing the unaccounted money of around 1,000 crores.

An individual in Hyderabad came with a declaration of Rs 10,000 crore which is the biggest and Mumbai has reportedly disclosed around Rs 8,500 crore, Delhi at around Rs 7,000 crore and Pune at about Rs 4,000 crore.

The APSRTC has decided to run bus services to State Secretariat from various places in the Vijayawada city and Guntur district for the benefit of Secretariat employees.

According to Regional Manager of Krishna region P Rama Rao, buses will start form Pandit Nehru Bus Station at 09:00 AM, 09:05 AM, 09:10 AM and 09:15 AM and from Kankipadu at 08:10 AM. Buses start from Nidamanuru at 8:25 AM, Ibrahimpatam at 8:10 AM, Krishnalanka varadhi at 09:05 AM, 09:10 AM, 09:15 AM,09:20 AM and from Tadepally (Undavalli centre, Guntur district) at 09:05 AM, 09:10 AM, 09:15 AM and 09:20 AM.

For return journey in the evening, the RTC arranged metro city buses from Secretariat. Buses start for Pandit Nehru Bus Station at 5:40 PM, for Kankipadu at 5:45 PM, for Nidamanuru at 5:50 PM and for Ibrahimpatnm at 5:35 PM.

amaravati shopping festival 10032016

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu Will launch Grand Amaravati Shopping Festival-2016 (ASF) in Vijayawada on October 6 and it will go on till October 29th.

The shopping fest will be conducted at the PWD grounds, Punnami Ghat and Padimawati Ghat. Ministers Devineni Uma Mahes War Rao and Pratitipati Pulla Rao launched the Official Website of the ASF on Saturday.

Giving the details of the fest, Krishna district collector A. Babu said that the event is mainly aimed at attracting tourism and also to create a brand image for the new capital. He said the ASF is being conducted on the lines of Dubai Shopping Festival every year.

Around 2,000 stalls were allocated to the Vendors and they are coming up with big discounts, he said. Mr Babu also said that the customers will be given two coupons on every purchase of Rs.1,000 for daily and bumper draw prizes.

Food courts and amusement for children are also being set up at the Venues. A carnival will be held on Bandar Road every evening during the Amaravati Shopping Fest.

velagapudi secretariat start 10032016

All is set for the full functioning of Temporary Secretariat Interim Government Complex at Velagapudi in Amaravati capital region from Monday.

Temporary Secretariat special officer A. Mallikarjuna said that all the chambers were readied and equipment was fixed for the functioning of the Temporary Secretariat. He said that nearly 80 per cent files of 48 government departments reached the Secretariat and concerned departments are placing them in their chambers.

Mr Mallikarjuna said that a grand welcome would be given to the Secretariat employees who will arrive in Velagapudi from Hyderabad on Monday morning.

The Secretariat employees including women will reach Guntur railway station by Secundrabad Guintur-Vijayawada intercity superfast express at 9.30 am on Monday and the district officials are making arrangements for shifting them to Velagapudi.

Meanwhile, the SPF has taken control of Temporary Secretariat Security and they imposed restrictions on the entry of Visitors. The public will not be allowed into the chambers without proper permissions or passes.
