The Chief Minister reviewed the projects in the capital region at the review meeting with CRDA in the Secretariat. Projects with an approximate cost of ₹13,000 crore are being grounded in the next two weeks. Some projects are a part of Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) infrastructure, some are government complexes and some are trunk infrastructure.

Hybrid Annuity Model for LPS infrastructure
The tenders for the LPS infrastructure will be released next week, under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). A popular model for most NHAI contracts, HAM will undergo 3 major modifications in its implementation in the state’s projects.
Based on market research and feedback given by bankers and developers through workshops, the final contours of the HAM model will be made to suit the LPS infrastructure projects.

The concession period will be 13 years instead of 17, with 3 years of construction and 10 years of operation and maintenance (O&M). Secondly, the share of the project cost will be 49% by the state government, and 51% by developers (as opposed 40% and 60%). The government will have an increased share, because the projects will not be making as much as revenue as NHAI projects. Lastly, the state government will give guarantees to provide for any shortfall in repayment of annuity.

5 major projects have been finalised, and their tenders are ready to reach the market on October 11. The total estimated cost of the 5 projects is ₹10,000 crore:
• Zone 4 of 1,360 acres with an estimated cost of ₹817 crore,
• Zone 5 of 5,174 acres with an estimated cost of ₹2,383 crore,
• Zone 9 of 6,902 acres with an estimated cost of ₹3,714 crore,
• Zone 12 of 7,838 acres with an estimated cost of ₹2,102 crore and
• Zone 12A of 3,860 acres with an estimated cost of ₹1,498 crore

StadiArena Amaravati Limited presented their proposal to create a state-of-the-art sports facility, to promote an international standard of sporting and leisure facilities.

“Andhra Pradesh will be able to host national and international sporting events, and the youth of our state will be encouraged to undergo training of high standard”, said the Chief Minister.

fficials said that 20 acres of land close to the river have been identified near the government complexes. The facilities include a multi-use sports pitch, and spaces and amenities for tennis, basketball, volleyball, yoga, table tennis, swimming, badminton and dance. There will also be facilities for medical science and rehabilitation.

The project will be executed in 2 phases. Phase 1 (at a cost of 19.89 million pounds) will be the establishment of conference and exhibition centres, with StadiArena sports area, events park, members club and disaster recovery centre. Phase 2 (at a cost of 16 million pounds) will include the construction of hotels, self-catered accommodation, retail and leisure facilities.

The sports area will have a capacity of 10,000 people, and a 4,000 capacity multi-use arena.

F1H20 Water Festival – Amaravati 2018
Officials of UIM Powerboat Racing will be organizing the F1H20 Water Festival in Amaravati in 2018. They presented their detailed proposal of the events and races, which will attract international racing teams, and enthusiasts of water sports.

The event will span across 15 days with a wide variety of events, making it an entire dedicated month including celebrations and preparations.

The Chief Minister was eager to take this project forward, and signed an MoU initiating the partnership between UIM Powerboat Racing and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Boyapati Srinu
Noted film director Boyapati Srinu presented his ideas to create a structure dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara. The Chief Minister appreciated his efforts and said, “The largest project in the country, the interlinking of rivers Krishna and Godavari, is completed within a year’s time only because of the blessings of Lord Balaji”.

He asked Mr. Srinu to follow up the project with officials from the irrigation and infrastructure departments.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will dedicate the new Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) – Muchumarri-II to the nation om Friday. It is part of the Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) Phase-1, package II. The HNSS project will provide irrigation facilities to 6.025 lakh acres of land in drought prone RayalaSeema districts and give water to 33 lakh people by utilising 40 TMC of flood water by lifting it from the foreshore of Srisailam reservoir.

The phase I of HNSS project was originally contemplated to lift Water from the intake of pumping station 1 located near Malyala village in Kurnool district having facility to draw water from 251 meters duly excavating an approach channel With a lowered bed level of 240 meters, suitably locating in take near Siddeswaram in the foreshore of the reservoir near Muchumarri Village.

Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) has set a record of sorts in completion of lift irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh. The Hyderabad-based firm has successfully executed Pattiseema LIS as well as Purushothapatnam and has now completed another LIS near Muchumarri in Kurnool district as part of the HNSS project.

The pumping station has been proposed near Muchumarri village to lift the water from level 243.66m to 271.5 meters and carry the water through a link canal by gravity from pump station - 0 to pump station -1, that is from Muchumarri to Malyala village. MEIL has taken up this Work, which includes construction of pump house, construction of delivery cistern, providing pressure mains and pumping system (hydro-mechanical Works), providing pumps, motors and other electrical installations and setting up 13 pumps and motors of 3.7 MW capacity each.

Hi This is Kolipakula Murali Krishna from Nellore and native of Nandivelugu, Tenali Mandal. I am a passenger in the bus, which met with accident @Thirunelveli District, Tamilnadu state on 16th september 2017 i.e., Saturday. Here I want to share my feelings about the response from our ANDHRA Government.

As we started 42 members group from our Tenali, Guntur District on 13th September, Wednesday. We visited Srikalahasti, Kanipakam, Kaveri Water falls, Bhavani & Palani, Then we started to Kanyakumari. The accident was happened @ 4.45 PM on 16th early morning hours quite opposite to Christu Teachers Training College On the spot 4 members passed away. One person Mr sathyam Cooking master seriously injured and he is also passed after admitted at Hospital.

The incident was informed to my Brother in law @ 5 pm. Then he rushed to Mallampati Hari babu and Mr Myneni Murali Krishna. They met with Our Minister Sri Nakka Anand Babu garu and informed the details. Swift action taken by Anand babu garu by informing the details to our Guntur Dist., Collector Sri Kona Sasidhar garu. We came to know that Sasidhar garu spoke with Madurai and Thirunelveli District collectors. All the necessary actions were takes place on the time itself for arranging facilities to hospitalized patients, arranging the 5 Ambulances to 5 bodies and to take care of remaining passengers and to arrange the bus facility to return our Tenali by our collector.

We reached Chennai Madhurwai toll plaza 6.30 am. By that time Kolluru MRO and Kolluru SI reached the toll plaza and took the passenger details and started at 8 am. Morning breakfast was arranged at toll plaza. We safely reached by 6 pm at Tenali. We are very much thankful to our Minister Sri Nakka Anand babu garu, Sri Myneni Murali krishna, Mallampati Hari garu, Epuru Nagaraju garu, our collector Sri Kona Sasidhar garu and all other Govt officials. Christhu Teachers Training College principal, Thirunelveli syndicate branch manager's, Tamilnadu Merchantile bank staff, Thirunelveli Govt officials, Sri Konijeti Rosaiah garu for fasten the activities and KGM constructions staff. This is not last, So many persons were involved and called me and gave Moral support, which cannot forget in my life. My sincere thanks to our media persons and took the details from us and updated the family members to know the status of passengers.

At last my Sincere thanks to Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu and Nakka anandbabu garu who directed the officials and took the steps to leave thirunelveli within 12 hours time. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation stone, on Thursday for the construction of Amaravati American Institute of Medical Sciences (AAIMS) in Ibrahimpatnam at Krishna district.

Amaravati American Institute of Medical Sciences will be built in 20 acres of land at Ibrahimpatnam, with an estimated investment of Rs.600 crore. The hospital will be built in three phases.

First phase - 300-bed facility will be built by 2019. By the same time five out-patient (OP) centres will also be built in Vijayawada and Guntur
Second phase - Another facility with 400 beds will be built
Third phase - A multi-speciality hospital with 500 beds will be built
