The Andhra Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (APS RTC) has opened its new administrative building headquarters in Vijayawada at Pandit Nehru Bus Stand premises. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the building.

The office space is spread over 45,000 square feet. The total building is of G+3, where the other available space in the two floors would be allotted to other departments coming to Vijayawada.

The RTC Bhavan has been designed by Analyst, Civil Engineering Professor of Siddhartha Engineering College, Dr.D.Panduranga Rao. Chief Minister has congratulated Dr.Panduranga Rao for his good work. The office space is built in 9 months and the quality is top notch, said Dr.Pandguranga Rao

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the two new miniplex theaters of Y-Screens in Vijayawada Bus Stand. Chief Minister has purchased the ticket and watched a movie in the theater.

This is the first of its kind in India that, a bus stand is having an cinema theater

Below are the features of Miniplex:

• The mini digital theatre features two screens
• Each with 130 seating capacity
• The ticked is priced at Rs 80
• Theater would be running 24/7, Cinemas would be running from 9.00 AM to 1.00 AM and from 1.00 AM to 9.00 AM it would be screened, about government policies and its advertisements (For this the charge would be Rs.20)
• There would be an online ticket booking facility also to book cinema tickets
• The mini theatre is being built on 4,356 square feet area
• The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.3 crore

Amaravati Scania Buses will now have live TV facility. Normally in every bus there would be one or two TV's and we have to see the movie which is screening.

But now, every Seat in the Amaravati Scania bus will have a mini screen. This facility resembles just like flight service. The passengers will have their personal entertainment and see what channel they want, during their journey duration. They can watch their favorite news channel, movies, music, cricket and TV serials, while travelling. This facility was launched by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Yesterday.

RTC has made these arrangements with dish antennas. With a cost of Rs.9 crores, this facility is arranged in 45 Amaravati Scania Buses.

APSRTC is the first department to shift its department from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. It is going to start its operations from tomorrow. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to start APSRTC NTR Administrative Block in the premises of Pandit Nehru Bus Station. The administrative block is being built in three floors and availability of office space will be 45,000 square feet.
