The coating material of gypsum, cement and rubber would be applied to the iron rods of the gutters. This coating will prevent the fire and heat and will not allow the slab get heated during any fire accident.

Also as a precautionary measure, every room will have fire extinguishers. A lighting pipe would be kept at the top of the building, to avoid thunders. Also a temperature meter to measure the temperature and rain meter would also be arranged.

While speaking at the collector’s conference in Vijayawada, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu told that, Krishna District has achieved 12.8% GDP growth in FY16. Krishna District stood top in terms of GDP, keeping Vizag in second position.

In 2014-15, the GDP is around 9.25% and at that time Krishna District is in fourth place. This year, it has crossed three positions, and grabbed the first position in terms of GDP growth. In terms of Per Capita Income, it stood in second place after Vizag.

Krishna District also stood first in Power, Gas and Water supply. In Agriculture sector, Krishna District stood in Second position.

Andhra Pradesh has achieved a growth rate of 10.5% in the gross state domestic product (GSDP) in the 2015-2016.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has requested Japanese ministers, industrialists and higher officials to look at Amaravati capital city as the second Tokyo of Japan. Interacting with the Japanese delegates here on Monday, he said a huge volume of human and natural resources are available in AP while Japan has technology and financial resources. A combination of Japan and AP will help develop both the entities. He said that the government would provide direct flights to Tokyo from the Gannavaram airport.

Mr Naidu requested the Japanese company to first implement the project in Vijayawada city on a trail basis. The SES company expressed interest in city surveillance and the CM requested them to introduce face recognition technology and crowd behavior monitoring technology in the forthcoming Krishna pushkaralu. International Initiative Japan (ILJ) is also interested in E-governance and electronic land registration system. The Chief Minister requested them to setup a cloud data centre. The Toshiba company explained disaster prevention solutions for AP's new capital city. The company was also told to develop the only weather monitoring system but also flood management system. The Hitachi company expressed an interest to invest in smart city and energy management.

APS RTC administrative office which is coming up in Vijayawada Bus Stand, is named after Andhra Pradesh Ex-Chief Minister and Telugu's famous actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao.

It is known fact that, many names of the important buildings in the state are named after non-telugu's. Even the present Vijayawada bus stand is changed from "Telugu Satavahana Pranganam" to Pandit Nehru Bus Stand. Majority of the citizens are also asking to change this name. But government is not willing to create any controversies and thought of keeping names for new buildings/offices after famous Telugu personalities.

Many citizens are looking this as a good move.

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, today has done a sudden surprise inspection on Krishna Pushkaram Works. According to the schedules, after his visit to Velagapudi to inspect the works of Secretariat Construction, CM has to leave to Gannavaram Airport to attend Assam CM's swearing in ceremony.

But Chief Minister has stopped his bus on Prakasam Barrage and inspected the works there, later moved on to Durga Ghat and inspected the ghats construction. He has instructed the officials to build the ghats in such a way that, there would not be any discomfort to the crowd. Later he has moved to Kanakadruga Flyover area and asked Collector to make sure the works should not block the traffic during pushkarams.

CM moved has instructed VMC commissioner to clean the canals. Later chief minister moved on to BRTS road and instructed to grow more greenery across the main roads in the city. From BRTS Road, chief Minister left to Gannavaram Airport, to attend Assam CM's swearing in ceremony.
