Andhra Pradesh endowments department is soon introducing a scheme, "Divya Darshini". As government is giving subsidy to poor Muslims for Haj Yatra, Andhra Pradesh government is also thinking to do the same for Hindu Devotees.

Government is starting the scheme "Divya Darshini" for poor Hindus, where government only will bear all the expenses and take the devotees to all the famous Temples in the state. Tirupati, Simhachalam, Annavaram, Indrakeeladri, Dwaraka Tirumala, Srikalhasti, Srisailam etc..would be the part of this temple circuit.

Government is planning to take one famous temple from each district and add in this tour. This scheme will be given priority to BPL families of SC, ST, BC and other castes. Government is planning to start this very soon, once after Chief Minister approves.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is going to come up with three mega projects in Andhra Pradesh Capital Amaravati.

CII will set up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for startups, world class university and a Convention Center.

The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated 10 acres in Amaravati for CII’s centre of excellence for startups. CII is going to invest Rs.10.15 crore in this project. This is going to be the 10th centre of excellence in India for CII.

Also CII is going to construct a convention center, in public-private partnership (PPP) mode with the AP government. This project is going to be in 100 acres, though this is not yet finalized.

CII will also be setting up the CII University in Amaravati. It would also work with the Government on taking 10 public and private universities to world class levels.

Three textile companies have come forward to set up integrated mega textile parks. One at Guntur and another at Anantapur, with a total investment of Rs.595 crore. These three parks will cretae around 6000 jobs.

Guntur Textile Park Private Limited will set up a textile park in Gopalamvaripalem Village in Chilakaluripet Mandal, Guntur District. The total cost of the proposed project of Guntur Textile park including the investment in plant and machinery, would be around Rs.491.86 crore. This is going to create employment for about 2960 people.

free health facilitiy amaravati 13052016

Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to provide free medical facilities to all the residents of capital city Amaravati under NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme. Only those people who are residing in the capital city as on December 8, 2014 will be eligible for his scheme.

This scheme will be in implementation for 10 years. Currently, the government is providing free medical facilities to BPL families of the capital city and now it would be extended to all the residents of the city.

According to a GO issued, only those citizens who possess ration card or Amaravati resident card would be eligible for free medical facility.

krishna pushkaralu buddha 13052016

The famous iconic structure of Amaravati, Dhyana Buddha Statue is getting ready for pushkarams. The 125 feet tall Dhyana Buddha on the banks of river krishna is getting a new paint to the structure. The Dhyana Buddha is going to be the main attraction of the Krishna Pushkaralu. It is also going to get illuminated in the night time.

The statue is expected to get more visitors for krishna pushkarams. The ancient Amaralingeswara temple is also getting renovated for krishna pushkarams.

The tourism department installed scaffolding and cleaning the Buddha statue to colour it. Gray or sandstone colour would be painted to the Buddha statue. Buddha Park was proposed in front of Dhyana Buddha statue and the works of the park would be started soon.
