With the inspiration of Godavari Haarathi in Rajahmundry, government is planning to start Krishna Nitya Haarathi at Krishna River. This is going to be done every day from Pushkarams, opposite Indrakeeladri near Durga Ghat. The priests would be on a floating Platform and give the nine haaratis. People also can see this from Prakasam Barrage.

From Krishna Pushkarams, this is going to start every day. This would last for 25 minutes. From April to September it would start at 7.00 PM and from October to March, it would start at 6.30 PM

Right Now Krishna Haarathi is going on, on only Saturdays at 6.00 PM at Durga Ghat.

Gone are those days to celebrate your functions, parties in Functions halls and open grounds. Now the new trend in going to be set up in Amaravati, the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Now you can float on Krishna River using a boat and do your functions and parties. Champions Company from Kerala is building a big boat which can accommodate upto 400 people at a time and carry on your parties and functions on Krishna River.

They are building this boat since the past six months, with Rs.2 crores budget. They are using a special wood to prepare the boat, which is brought from Kerala, Goa and Pondicherry. The boat would be weighing around 90 tones and it can accommodate upto 400 persons. This boat also has 3 AC Bedrooms.

This is going to be a new experience to the people, to enjoy their functions, parties on the floating boat in Krishna River

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union minister M. Venkaiah Naidu stressed their stands on Centers help to the state.

It is known that since the past one month, the tone of Chandrababu Naidu has changed over centers support to the state and repeatedly expressed his displeasure over lack of fund allocations to the state from the Centre. Also Venkaiah Naidu used to tell that, the state and central governments should not criticise each other

On Friday, in the public meeting of CIPET Foundation Ceremony, Mr Venkaiah Naidu said Mr Chandrababu Naidu always “asked for more” from the Centre and told that Chief Minister was doing this only with a view to ensure the development of the state at a faster pace.

Mr Chandrababu Naidu reacted to this and said AP suffered a lot from bifurcation. "I am not asking anything new, i am asking to help whatever Center has promised and help us until our financial position is as good as other states in the country and treat us also equally with other states"

Indrakeeladri History will be painted in the form of images on the walls of Indrakeeladri. These will be carved on the walls opposite Durga Ghat. This would help today’s generation to know the history of Indrakeeladri.

The decision is taken by Durga Temple Incharge EO Chandrasekhar Azad. The paper sketches of these images are ready. They are planning to complete this by Krishna Pushkarams.
