Three women from the city met Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and handed over their donations for the construction of capital Amaravati. Koya Kanchanamala donated Rs 5 lakh, while another woman Koganti Vasumati and Yarlagadda Suchitra donated Rs 1 lakh.

Three women accompanied by AP Women Commission chairperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari met the Chief Minister and congratulated him for his work and plans for the new capital city. They said that people were happy with the government's plans for the State and the capital city and expressed confidence that his vision would become a reality.
The Chief Minister thanked the women for their contribution and cooperation in building the new capital city against all odds.

Citizens who want to enjoy in Krishna Water, can now have a new experience in River Krishna. A big 120-foot-long cruise named "Tanvi" is ready. The trail run is success and also a pooja under Ganapathi Sachhindanda Swamy ashram has taken place yesterday.

This boat is constructed since the past 6 months, by Uttar Pradesh workers in the banks of river Krishna near Undavalli.

Vijayawada citizens who are worried about the traffic around the city, can check the route through an App and know the traffic details in that route. Vijayawada Police who are already handing the 4th Lion App, now added another feature of Traffic live updates, "Live Traffic".

Users who have smart phones, can download the "4th Lion App". Users can not only check the traffic around the city, but also they would get the alerts on the smart phones from the app.

The traffic police who are on duty on various junctions around the city, would send the feed and the details would come to the app users.

In this way, the citizens can avoid the jammed routes and save their time.

The 4th Lion app, also have other features such as SOS, Track My Travel, E-challan, FIR Case Status, public transport complaint, bus, train, flight timings, movies information, and passport verification services.

The much awaited inner ring road will finally be open for public. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the inner ring road today.

The two highways would be connected with this, from Ramavarappadu to Gollapudi. With this the vehicles need not to enter the city to reach Hyderabad or Vizag. This would also be helpful to the upcoming pushkar traffic.

Vehicles travelling from Hyderabad to Vizag will be diverted at Gollapudi and will pass via Nynavaram bridge at Milk Project, Ajit Singh Nagar, Gunadala and finally reach Ramavarappadu Junction by crossing two flyover bridges. Ramavappadu Junction connects Chennai-Kolkata Highway and Chennai-Hyderabad highway.

Vehicles coming from Chennai to Hyderabad can pass via Ramavarappadu, IRR and finally reach Gollapudi without entering the old city.

The inner ring road was completed at a cost or Rs.119 crore. The center lighting and the greenery on either side of the roads and on the divider is attracting the public.
