Mr. Naidu will perform sankusthapana for the first road of the new capital, the “Amaravati Capital Access Road" near Venkatapalem. He will begin at the Anna canteen at Malkapuram where he will distribute reconstituted plots to the pooled farmers at Tullur. According to the Hindu religion, panchami, the fifth waxing day, is ruled by Lalitha Tripura Sundari, and is considered auspicious for all works.

Features of Amaravati Access Road:

• Amaravati Access Road with an iconic hanging bridge would start at Kanakadurga Varadhi and will end at Borupalem connecting Mahanadu, Seethanagaram, Vijayawada-Chennai railway track, Buckingham Canal, old Madras highway, Undavalli, Tallayapalem, Uddandarayunipalem, Modugulankapalem, Amaravati Government Core, Seed Capital, Rayapudi and will end at Borupalem on the banks of Krishna river.
• This would be of six-lane road to the new capital and would be completed in Nine months
• The total distance of the road is 21.5 km long, with 60 meters width
• The total cost of the project is 579 crores
• An Iconic Hanging Bridge is a special attraction to this road

Aspirants from Vijayawada who want to work in films, can now learn the techniques from Film School in Vijayawada. Geetha Krishna International Film & Fashion School, is going to set up the first ever film school in Vijayawada. This institute has already have its branches in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. AS Geeta Krishna, Film director and advertising film maker, is the organizer of this school.

Geeta Krishna has identified three or four locations for his institute. But at the outset it will function from a rented premises. Once the state government provides the land, which they have requested, then they will construct their own building, which will be stylish and iconic.

The film-maker is looking for some 1000 sq yards of land for the project, which will probably cost around `5 crore. The film school will offer different course modules of varying duration: 45 days, four months, six months and one year.

M.Padma working as Assistant Commercial Tax Officer in the Commerce department started a cycle rally on Friday to Amaravati from Hyderabad as a mark of honor for coming to work in newly formed capital. She said that, CM has given many things to employees like 43% fitment, 30% HRA, accommodation for women employees, special train and many more. She said that she will work hard for the development of state under the leadership of Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu.

She also said that, she want to prove that Amaravati is the safest place and want to answer the once, who are saying Amaravati is not the safest place.
