Workers at the temporary Secretariat are not bothered about the scorching summer heat. The construction works of the temporary capital was speeded up with the construction of pillars for the second floor after laying concrete slab to the first floor. The engineers and workers without caring for the scorching summer heat of 40 degree Celsius, are working to complete the tasks before the scheduled time. Meanwhile, the work on the Assembly building would be started in a few days and this structure would be completed by August-end.
After laying the concrete slab to the structure of temporary Secretariat, the CRDA started selection process of interior designs. The CRDA appointed a private firm Kukreja as consultant to prepare interior designs.
As many as 1,000 workers are arduously working in three shifts at Velagapudi. They belong to Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar and are staying in the tents installed at the work place. Workers K. Dilip and others said that first they came here for work but after knowing about the construction of iconic Secretariat buildings, they felt very happy to be part of the historical event.
The concrete slab was completed to the first building which is CM's office and construction of pillars for the second floor was also started. Labourers and skilled workers are taking three hours break during midday to get relief from the scorching summer heat and taking measures for the safety of the staff. They said that the schedule for concrete slab is April 30 but it was laid 15 days in advance and they are confident of completion of temporary Secretariat by June 15 without fail.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao extended a hand of friendship to his AP counterpart, Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking in Bhadrachalam, KCR said that fighting will mean that both the Telugu States will be losing and also asserted that he is always ready to co-operate to AP in all possible ways.
He also told the people that he already started helping AP as much as he can. He also reminded people that water sharing will be very crucial for both the states and either states should make use of the water which is going waste in to the sea. He declared that his vision is to use bring 1000 TMC of water in to use for Telangana.
But at the same time asserted that, AP will still be able to use 1500 TMC of water. KCR also said that he already agreed for Chandrababu Naidu’s proposal to co-operate with each other in water issues. If KCR really put his words to work, both the Telugu States will definitely flourish and farmers on both the sides will be benefited.

The terminal is being developed with an outlay of Rs. 137 crore along with other amenities. It will have a capacity to handle about 500 passengers in an hour, 250 departing and 250 arriving. The airport terminal building will be spread over 9,520 sq.m. and located on a 540-acre site.

India Defense Research and Development Organization is about to install a Missile Testing Station at Nagayalanka in Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. This will be Very helpful to New Born Andhra Pradesh.
Defense Ministry and the DRDO Officials Visited Nagayalanka on Thursday and toured the area for setting up the missile launching pad there. They were accompanied by the officials of the Forest Department of Andhra Pradesh. They also visited the exact spot for setting up the launching pad on the sea beach.
They discussed the matters related to soil strength on the spot and other details with the department officials. The visiting team met local newsmen and announced that the work on setting up the missile station would begin soon.
Nagayalanka would be in addition to the existing launch pad station at Sriharikota. The missile launch pads are along the East coast, including one at Wheeler island off Orissa.
