Chief Minister Clarifies Each And Every Point of the Venom Sakshi News Paper Spewing on Amaravati
The open spaces at Velagapudi village in Thullur mandal have been witnessing hectic construction activity over the last one week. Two of the leading firms— L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji— which have bagged the bids for construction of a Secretariat complex, have begun work by deploying giant cranes.
Prefabricated sheds have been built to accommodate workers and senior engineers have been deputed to oversee work.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has given a deadline for the two firms to complete the construction by June 15, paving the way for relocation of nearly 20,000 staff working in the AP Secretariat in Hyderabad to Amaravati. The complex would be divided into six blocks housing various departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office.
Kanka Durga Flyover works are moving in a direction to complete the project by August 12th, Krishna Pushkarams. Every work is going as per the targets specified. Hi-Tech Machines and latest technology is used in the construction.
The construction company is now planning to build the pillars in Krishna River next week. Out of total 46 Pillars of the project, 9 pillars have to be built in Krishna River

Modern Machinery
Dredging Boat:
The contract company is bringing an advanced "Dredging Boat" from Goa. This will send reclamation pipelines and bring the sand out. It will dig out 300 cubic meters pit in one hour. After that Iron Alignment will be placed in the pit and then concrete. In this whole process, they take care that water will not go into the pit.
Boom Placer:
A Boom-placer pumps that can be extended upto 36 mts height are being used for concreting. They are remote-controlled. As for piling, crawler-mounted hydraulic rigs whose height can be adjusted were used. A telescopic fully-automatic crane with is being used and it can stretch. Upto 120 cubic mts of concrete can be filled by this boom placer

Karunya University, run by "Jesus Calls International", has come forward to set up its campus in Amaravati. Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, the president of Jesus Calls International, who also serves as the Chancellor of Karunya University has met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada and discussed about this.
Further detailed plan will be submitted very shortly and government would allot land for the university in education city at Amaravati.
